Job Overview
Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. The pay rate for this role is $24.50 per hour. The schedule is 5:00am to 1:30pm or until route completion. The position offers the opportunity to be home daily with no nights or weekends.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid CDL A or
B. - Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain all CDL requirements.
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lb.
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics (shipping, receiving, and delivery) is a plus.
- Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Pre‑employment drug and background screening required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) with a maximum harness weight capacity of 400lb.
- Deliver materials to customers, including assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of the material ticket.
- Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use PPE correctly.
