Financial Additions is searching for an experienced staff accountant for a 4+ week contract/project near Addision. Applicants must be availabe to start May 11.
Duties include- Account reconciliations (or cost of sales closing cycle, complex cash, support of fixed assets, and monthly accruals).
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Prepare and submit recurring journal entries.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and valuation adjustments.
- Coordinate check requests to transfer remittances as appropriate.
- 2+ years of accounting experience in corporate environment
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and terminology
- Tech savvy. good Excel, ability to learn software easily (ERP experience prefered)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
