Experienced Project Accountant

We’re working with a client looking for a hands‑on Project Accountant to support large-scale project operations.

• Manage AP, AR, and general accounting activities
• Oversee job costing, including labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and project profitability
• Prepare monthly financial reports, operational summaries, and performance roll‑ups
• Support project closeout, cost reconciliation, and completion reporting
• Review payroll‑related financial activity and labor cost accounting
• Monitor expenses, corporate spending, and cash activity
• Reconcile accounts and support month‑end close
• Partner with operations to improve margin reporting and financial visibility
• Help build scalable accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a project‑based or operational environment
• Strong job costing or project accounting background
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting
• Understanding of financial statements, cost tracking, and operational accounting workflows
• Self‑starter with strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Able to communicate clearly with finance and operations teams

• Experience in a project‑based industry.
