Senior Accountant - Hybrid - Addison

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a rapidly growing, multi-site healthcare services organization with a strong, people-focused culture. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key components of the month-end close process, contribute to financial statement analysis, and partner closely with leadership on process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring solid general ledger experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support monthly close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet activity; research and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insight into financial performance
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely completion of audit requests
• Maintain general ledger integrity and support internal control documentation
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional accounting initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms (Workday Finance preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
• Experience with Alteryx and payroll accounting is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
