Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a cafe in Addison, Texas in a Contract to Permanent position. This onsite opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping accounting operations organized, accurate, and moving efficiently in a busy environment. The role will support core financial processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and daily transaction tracking while working closely with the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of vendor invoices and customer payment activity with timely and accurate processing.
• Handle routine accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to support consistent weekly accounting operations.
• Assist with payroll administration for a workforce of about 200 employees, with Paycom experience viewed favorably.
• Reconcile daily cash movements by reviewing paid-in and paid-out activity across multiple restaurant locations and ghost kitchens.
• Compare receipts, cash logs, and supporting records to identify discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
• Update and maintain accounting data in Quick Books Online to ensure records remain complete and current.
• Prepare basic spreadsheets and reports in Excel for tracking transactions and supporting the accounting function.
• Provide occasional administrative assistance related to HR processes, with guidance and training available as needed.
