Position Overview
Ortho Med Anesthesia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Scheduler to join our growing anesthesia practice management company. This critical role will serve as the central coordinator for scheduling operations across our network of anesthesia services spanning multiple healthcare facilities in various states. As our Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing complex, multi-state scheduling operations that directly impact patient care and provider satisfaction.
You'll work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances are essential for success. This is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Addison, TX, reporting to the VP of Revenue. The role requires on-site presence during regular business hours.
- Schedule Coordination:
Manage anesthesia provider schedules across multiple facilities and states - Facility Communication:
Serve as primary liaison between anesthesia providers and healthcare facilities - Provider Relations:
Maintain relationships with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and healthcare facility staff - Documentation:
Maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure compliance with facility requirements - Problem Resolution:
Address scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes efficiently - Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate's degree preferred - 2+ years of scheduling or healthcare administrative experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
