Personal/Executive Assistant to the CEO

Grand Homes, two-time winner of America’s Best Builder award and one of the Top 50 companies to work for in the U.S, is looking for an experienced Personal/Executive Assistant to the CEO for our Addison, Texas corporate office.
Candidate must be organized, polished and professional, maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality, have a positive attitude as well as a friendly, outgoing personality. Must have previous C‑Level Executive Assistant experience. Position is at our Addison office and is onsite full time.
- Provide administrative support to the company CEO
- Excellent typing skills required to take meeting notes and transcribe dictation rapidly and accurately
- Handle CEO’s personal and administrative tasks
- Arrange company and leisure travel for the CEO
- Arrange any needed travel for company personnel including contest trips
- Manage deadlines effectively and with a sense of urgency
- Follow‑up on various delegated assignments
- Prepare letters, correspondence, forms, spreadsheets and presentations
- Respond to and initiate professional and personal correspondence, including phone calls, email, letters, and face‑to‑face communication in a poised and polished manner
- Organize and manage files
- Organize and manage calendar
- Perform special projects as required and other duties as assigned
- 5 – 10 years experience working as an Executive Assistant
- Must be resourceful with a Can‑Do attitude and have a high sense of urgency and initiative
- Must be extremely organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and accurately.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong time management skills, including ability to prioritize work assignments with changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently managing projects and activities.
- Must have a strong sense of professionalism and maintain a high level of ethical and performance standards in respect to matters of strict confidentiality and sensitive information. Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
