The Facilities Dispatcher supports the day-to-day coordination of facility service requests. This role communicates with clients, schedules and dispatches technicians, follows up on service calls, and assists with basic contract and vendor tasks. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with others, and interested in developing experience in facilities and operations.
Job is fully onsite in Addison, TX. Rate of pay is between $18-20/hour based on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Answer client calls and emails regarding service requests and general questions.
- Enter and update service requests and work orders in the company system.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians and vendors based on service needs and availability.
- Communicate appointment times and service updates to clients.
- Follow up with clients to confirm that scheduled services were completed.
- Follow up with technicians and vendors on open or outstanding service requests.
- Keep clients informed of schedule changes or delays.
- Assist with coordinating routine maintenance and repair requests.
- Help maintain accurate records of work orders, client information, and service schedules.
- Assist with organizing vendor contracts, service agreements, and related paperwork.
- Track contract expiration and renewal dates and provide reminders to the appropriate team members.
- Contact vendors to request updated pricing, service information, or renewal documents when needed.
- Assist with contract renewals and vendor communication under the direction of management.
- Help compare basic pricing and service information provided by vendors.
- Work with the team to resolve scheduling or service issues and elevate concerns when necessary.
- Maintain professional and friendly communication with clients, technicians, and vendors.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the facilities and operations team.
