How will you contribute and grow?

The Purchasing and Efficiency Europe Africa Middle East and Home Healthcare Directorate oversees the management of purchases and the monitoring of efficiency projects for the entire scope.

You will work within the Performance team, responsible for improving the contribution of Purchasing to the competitiveness of the Air Liquide Group. This involves delivering analyses to monitor and improve the KPIs reported to Group Purchasing.

Your actions will contribute to two main areas:

Improving the automation rate of purchase orders with external suppliers, particularly in France. Within the Performance team for Europe Industries, the mission is to promote the use of purchasing catalogs managed by buyers and used by operational staff.

Building and analyzing the purchase spend data for the Home Healthcare activity.

• Provide analyses on automation rates at different levels of the Purchasing organization (Cluster, country, supplier, taxonomy…)

• Lead meetings with Buyer Managers and follow up on actions implemented by buyers

• Participate in the management of the automation KPI of purchase orders at the Europe terminals, and identify and act on countries below objectives.

1. Analyzing orders using Power BI to propose automation strategies and the removal of infrequently used suppliers

2. Delivering recommendations to buyers and managers, and following up on their deployments

3. Assisting the Data team in creating and updating new catalogs

4. Improving and standardizing procedures (Continuous Improvement)

5. Participating occasionally in other missions managed by the Performance team

The scope extends to Air Liquide subsidiaries (business lines Industrial Merchant & Large Industry), particularly ALFI (Air Liquide France Industries).

On these missions, the intern will work under the supervision of Antoine Viennet Procurement analyst for the Europe Industry activity:

The objective is to consolidate and optimize the monitoring of expenses (spend) on a global scale:

• International Consolidation:
  Consolidate monthly expenses of all Health subsidiaries (Europe, Americas, Asia, Oceania, Africa) in Power BI Health.

• Data Management & Classification:
  Ensure the proper classification of expenses by therapies (Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, etc.).

• Strategic Analysis:
  Analyze the evolution of spend by therapy and by supplier to identify new levers for negotiation and gains (savings) for buyers.

• Support for Automation of Tools:
  Automate savings calculations and supplier market share tracking via Excel, Google Sheets, VBA, AppScript, or Power BI.

On these missions, the intern will work under the supervision of Jeanne Belmont Procurement analyst for the Home Healthcare activity.

Are you a match?

• Desired level of education:
  Master's degree, ideally with a specialization in purchasing.

• Languages:
  
  Good level of English required.

  Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
