As an apprentice, you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.
To be eligible, you should be currently studying for a master's degree in finance, risk management, audit, compliance, economics, business or a related field.
The duration of the apprenticeship will vary from 1 year to 2 years depending on your programme.
What you will do
We have a number of teams looking for an apprentice and, depending on your placement, you may join one of the following business areas:
First Line Resilience
- Daily operational risk monitoring (reports, dashboards, meeting minutes).
- Participating to the implementation of Operational Resilience-related frameworks (TPRM, BC, etc) within LoD1 and coordinates transversal activities
- Contributing to analyses related to Operational Resilience risks (Business Continuity risk, Third Party risk, etc)
- Participating in Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and walkthrough exercises.
- Preparing materials for committees and governance forums.
- Ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and Group standards.
Second Line Risk
- Supporting the Risk team in incident analysis and follow-up.
- Operational risk oversight and monitoring (reports, dashboards, meeting minutes)
- Contributing to maintenance of the operational risk information system (action creation and monitoring) and methodology
- Supporting the Crisis Coordinator (exercise preparation, minutes, action tracking).
- Participating in Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and walkthrough exercises.
- Supporting default management simulations and transversal coordination activities.
- Preparing materials for committees and governance forums.
- Ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and Group standards.
- Contribute to the 2
LOD control plan execution (testing and deep dive) to assess control framework maturity.

What We are Looking For
- You should be currently pursuing a master's degree in finance, economics, risk management, compliance, audit, business, or related field.
- You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
- You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, operational risk, and resilience. A strong interest in risk topics, regulatory frameworks, or compliance is a real advantage.
