The RoleLithko Contracting is looking for a Traveling Superintendent to join our Travel Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of large-scale projects and collaborating closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.
Key Responsibilities- Developing a project plan for your phase of work.
- Understanding project information and identifying obstacles and opportunities for your phase of work.
- Preparing your team to execute using defined planning processes.
- Ensuring your team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
- Utilizing and tracking time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets.
- Ensuring project execution goals are met for your portion of work.
- Communicating project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
- Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work.
- Experience managing projects valued at over $1 million, with a diverse portfolio of project types, especially commercial and industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Proven leadership skills to lead teams and drive successful project outcomes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.
