Description

The Project Manager can take the owner’s contract and contract documents, estimate, and turn the project into a real‑life execution in accordance with those terms.

The Project Manager is responsible for the supervision and management of each project. This includes ensuring that the goals or objectives of a project are achieved within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through the project team. The PM’s role is to support and facilitate field operations by monitoring and controlling contracts, submittals, construction documents, and owner and architect expectations.

• Prepares detailed job schedules with the project team.
• Creates a schedule of values for proper preparation and timely submission of payment requests to owners.
• Responsible for project forecasting and projections that include identifying, documenting, and reporting monthly project financials to leadership.
• Negotiate timely and accurate project buy‑out, including finalization of purchase orders, subcontracts, and job site techniques used in pricing changes and other activities as needed.
• Mentors and supports APM and Project Engineers.
• Manages, further develops, and refines the MYCON Quality Control Plan and safety policy for each project.
• Completes project close‑out and final billing within 45 days of substantial completion.
• Punch list is complete per contract.
• Final billing and retainage billing are submitted.
• All close‑out documents are submitted and approved.
• Analyzes and equitably resolves back charges and extra requests from subcontractors.
• Facilitates OAC project meetings with an executive presence to achieve MYCON operational excellence.
• Performs other position‑appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Strong computer skills using project management tools – Pro Core and Blue Beam required.
• Ability to command the room.

• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Five years of construction management experience.

• OSHA 30
• Valid driver’s license.

• Required to sit, converse, and listen frequently; dexterity and flexibility needed for physical tasks.
• Must lift or carry over 20 pounds on a periodic basis and push/pull over 25 pounds on a periodic basis.
• Must stand or walk at least five hours per day.
• Must maintain reliable, predictable attendance at the scheduled site or office.
• Must work in a stressful environment.
• Must work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Ability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment.
