UX​/UI Design Intern

Overview

The UX/UI Intern will be responsible for assisting with specifically assigned web design projects. This role will support user experience and content strategy, aligning brand creative and guidelines with business goals.

• Utilize Figma to design website mockups, applying the platform’s component library/design system to ensure visual consistency, development efficiency, and adherence to usability standards (ADA).
• Understand user experience (UX) best practices and make strategic creative decisions in support of optimal user‑centric solutions.
• Review customer feedback and recorded screen interactions to identify opportunities and issues with current webpage designs and content structures.
• Translate those opportunities into actionable solves for go-forward design recommendations.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to help generate new ideas, concepts, and assist in finding creative solutions to existing problems.
• Assist the Senior UX/UI Designer with special projects and requests.

• Undergraduate Fine Arts or Science degree in digital arts/technology with a focus on web design, responsive design, or digital media design.
• Extensive knowledge of Figma.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for marketing concepts and improving the customer experience.
• High proficiency with MS Office; experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously.
