**** General Summary
** The UX/UI Intern will be responsible for assisting with specifically assigned web design projects.  This role will support user experience and content strategy, aligning brand creative and guidelines with business goals.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and innovative individual. This person will gain valuable hands-on experience while working across all Elevate brands.
** Principal Duties and Responsibilities
*** Utilize Figma to design website mockups, applying the platform’s component library/design system to ensure visual consistency, development efficiency, and adherence to usability standards (ADA).
* Understanding of user experience (UX) best practices and proven ability to make strategic creative decisions in support of optimal user-centric solutions
* Review customer feedback and recorded screen interactions to determine opportunities and issues with current webpage designs and content structures. Translate those opportunities into actionable solves for go-forward design recommendations.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to help generate new ideas and concepts and assist in finding creative solutions to existing problems.
* Assist Sr. UX/UI Designer with special projects and requests.
** Experience and Education
*** Undergraduate Fine Arts or Science degree in digital arts/technology with focus on web design, responsive design, or digital media design.
* Extensive knowledge of Figma
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Superior project management and organizational abilities
* Strong attention to detail
* Passion for marketing concepts and improving the customer experience
* High proficiency with MS Office required; experience with Google Analytics a plus
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously
