Senior Interior Designer

Overview

Our client, an award-winning architecture and design firm, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to help build and lead a growing Interior Design team in their Dallas office. This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and delivering thoughtful, high‑quality interior environments.

The ideal candidate brings both strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset, with the ability to elevate design standards while helping establish and grow a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of interior design concepts from programming through construction administration
  • Collaborate closely with architectural teams, consultants, and clients to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Play a key role in building, mentoring, and shaping a new Interior Design team in the Dallas office
  • Oversee finish palettes, material selections, furniture specifications, and documentation
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and presentation materials
  • Serve as a senior representative in client meetings and presentations
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards
  • Contribute to business development efforts and help strengthen client relationships
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 10+ years of professional interior design experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring junior designers
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
  • NCIDQ certification preferred
