Licorne Society has been tasked by a rapidly growing startup to help them find a Customer Success Manager. While digital transformation is reshaping the world, teaching in middle and high schools still relies heavily on paper. The stakes for digitalization are high:
- Supporting the digital transition of the teaching staff and multiplying their pedagogical capabilities;
- Democratizing educational technology among a generation of students born with a smartphone in their hand;
- Reinventing access to school textbook resources by making them completely granular, modifiable, and collaborative, and allowing communities to produce territorial content;
- Ensuring a trusted framework that includes media education and respect for personal data.
This EdTech is rising to the challenge! The startup that already allows 12 million users to organize all their knowledge has become, in just a few years, thanks to its version adapted to educational institutions, an essential platform in the world of EdTech and Deep Tech in France and internationally.
The company's mission? It leverages all its experience and mastery of "social" and "cloud" consumer technologies to democratize the organization and sharing of knowledge. The education version of the platform, with its massive impact on future generations, is preparing a radical transformation of the world of knowledge.
The 3 products they offer:
- A collaborative platform at the scale of institutions (equivalent to a digital office allowing the centralization and sharing of all types of content),
- School publisher textbooks available in "granular" form, that is, decomposed into completely customizable pedagogical units;
- An online publishing platform (the Editeur company) allowing communities to produce their own territorial textbook and distribute it to all institutions in the area.
Context: This EdTech is growing very rapidly thanks to key partnerships with territorial communities, including the Ile-de-France region, and in parallel, a "bottom-up" development with institutions equipping themselves individually throughout France. The company is innovating radically and continuing the development of new products: thanks to its partnerships with several major publishing houses, the startup offers a new generation of school textbooks directly integrated into its platform.
This is a complete reinvention of school textbooks: cut into elemental resources, infinitely modifiable and completely collaborative!
Missions: In a structured and passionate team, they are looking for a new Customer Success Manager to meet the challenge of scalability at a very large scale:
- You join the "Product and Implementation" team composed of 20 people;
- After a few months, you will be entrusted with a complete area of responsibility combining the autonomous implementation of a perimeter of institutions and the development of key skills for the company's development;
- Responsible for the implementation of the partnership established with a territorial community, you will monitor the metrics that allow you to pilot a large-scale deployment and identify areas of opportunity or risk: enrollment rate, active rate, time spent / day;
- The success at a large scale being linked to a fine knowledge of the terrain, you will be in charge of the implementation, training, follow-up, and retention of a portfolio of school institutions on our 3 product offerings;
- You will be involved in marketing and product strategy by developing a true product knowledge and perspective: understanding of technical constraints, prioritization of requested features, defense of strategic choices.
Development prospects for the position: The development prospects of the team accompanying institutions are varied and in addition to your initial function, new responsibilities will be entrusted to you to adapt to the volume and new development opportunities. After a few years, you could be promoted to "Senior" with extended responsibilities and juniors to manage to achieve ambitious new objectives:
- Generalization of the use of the platform and school textbooks in France,
- Development of new editorial resources with communities,
- Extension of the market to primary, higher education, and professional training and
acceleration of international development.
Profile sought:
- Top 5 business school (PGE HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, emlyon)
- Graduation or 2/3 years of experience, ideally in challenging environments that push for excellence.
- Excellent analytical mind and project management skills
- Great listening skills and excellent interpersonal skills, obsessed with customer satisfaction
- Excellent written and oral communication, can explain complex subjects in simple terms and adapt their speech to different users
- Appetite for the education sector and/or new technologies
