We are looking for a dedicated teacher and Christ follower to teach one of our Kindergarten classes. Our Lower School offers an environment where students learn to play, develop friendships and love learning all while engaging in opportunities to further their love and trust of Christ. This opening is for the 2026-27 school year.
- Full-time teaching load for a Kindergarten teacher
- Teach academics along with personal, social and emotional skills
- Utilize a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate the student's learning experience
- Assess students' performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills taught on a regular basis
- Ability to collaborate with a teaching team
- Stay abreast of best practices in teaching Kindergarten students
- Demonstrate a love for students and a desire to personally invest in their spiritual, emotional and social development
- Incorporate Biblical principles and character traits into daily curriculum
- Perform other duties as needed
- Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22 and 23) in daily work, and interactions with colleagues and others
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Experience in teaching lower school is required
- Experience in teaching Kindergarten students is strongly preferred
- Create a classroom environment that fosters growth and learning
- Agree with and support TCA’s Doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values
- Have a willing heart for service (Ephesians 6:7)
- Normal physical demands of teaching Kindergarten
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker and planner
- Problem Solving Skills
