Preconstruction Manager – Design Management Support Overview
Colliers Project Leaders is currently looking for a Preconstruction Manager – Design Management Support to join our Owner's Rep team remotely within the US. The role provides day‑to‑day coordination and operational support to keep the design process organized, স্ত্রী aligned and responsive throughout design and construction. The incumbent manages design documentation, schedules, and package tracking while maintaining Procore Standards and ensuring compliance across architect and engineering partners.
Acting as a liaison between design teams, project management, and construction, the role supports coordination across EORs, design‑assist partners and subcontractors to drive clarity, close submittals and resolve RFIs. The role also assists with construction administration, QA/QC of design issuances and change management by helping identify cost and scope impacts. Overall, the team member focuses on enabling efficient design delivery, alignment across buildings, and smooth integration of customer or tenant design needs.
- Procore Management
- Fix/manage file structure.
- Ensure compliance and maintenance by architect/engineer partners.
- Design Schedule Management
- Ensure weekly square updates and schedule accuracy.
- Design Package Tracking, Narratives, Scopes (BB vs TFO)
- Design Alignment
- Lessons learned between buildings.
- VE items.
- Information sharing between design partners and buildings.
- Design Management
- Design assist/EOR/Sub engagement.
- Develop meeting tracker with subsensa and GC.
- Drive design clarity, submittals and shop drawings to closure.
- Ensure cross KõEOR coordination and alignment in design.
- Lead meetings.
- Construction Administration Management – weekly meetings with A&E partners
- Submittals/RFIs – escalation and involvement.
- Site visits Insert with A&E partners and QA/QC team.
- Mock‑ups/FOK/etc.
- Understand design inside/out, BOD, etc.
- Act as a middleman between project management/construction management and the object-architect and engineering team.
- Change management/PCO entitlements
- Training on contract and expectations of change management for the GC.
- Serve as a resource to the cost management team when an RFI or bulletin with a cost impact arises.
- QA/QC of design issuances and narratives – ensure categories of change listed at the drawing sheet level.
- Assist with customer/tenant design integration as needed.
- Degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, Engineering or a related fieldravur.
- 4+ years of design/preconstruction experience or project management with a design‑management role.
- Familiarity with MEP systems and how data centers operate.
- English reading, writing and comprehension for job-related communications and verbal instructions.
