Overview
Exciting Guardium Administrator/Engineer career opportunity.
Responsibilities- Administer IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring in medium/large enterprises, including translating application security requirements into Guardium policies and rules.
- Apply filters for trusted connections.
- Develop and maintain activity monitoring reports.
- Install and configure Guardium GIM and sTAP agents.
- Install and configure sTAP in the following environments:
Mainframe DB2 on z/OS, IMS; DB2/Oracle/Sybase on AIX or Solaris or Linux; SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012 R2. - Develop and perform Guardium log queries including basic troubleshooting and work within client’s change management/ticketing process.
- Engage IBM Guardium support (open PMRs) to identify and resolve issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and work experience; at least five years of diverse IT experience.
- Experience with administration of IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring in medium/large enterprises including translating security requirements into Guardium policies and rules.
- Knowledge of Guardium GIM and sTAP agents, and how to install and configure them.
- Experience with installation and configuration of sTAP in:
Mainframe DB2 on z/OS, IMS; DB2/Oracle/Sybase on AIX or Solaris or Linux; SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012 R2. - Experience developing and performing Guardium log queries, troubleshooting, and working within a client’s change management/ticketing process.
- Ability to engage IBM Guardium support (open PMRs) to identify and resolve issues.
