Engineer II, Systems is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure high availability and performance. The engineer conducts regular system audits to identify potential issues and implements proactive measures to mitigate risks. They are also tasked with automating routine tasks through scripting and other tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential for successful project deployments, requiring the specialist to provide technical support during the implementation of new technologies.

The Engineer monitors system performance metrics, analyzes data to identify bottlenecks, and implements solutions to enhance system efficiency. This includes configuring system settings, conducting regular performance assessments, and utilizing diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues. The Engineer diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to system performance, network connectivity, and application functionality. This includes analyzing logs, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences. The Engineer ensures timely resolution of incidents and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and documents troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the knowledge base for future reference.

Responsible for planning and executing upgrade procedures, testing new systems, and documenting changes. Ensures that compatibility and performance standards are met and troubleshoots any issues that arise during the upgrade process.
