Our clients are large groups working in many sectors: energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, utilities, construction, transport, mining, extraction, automotive, manufacturing, electronics, telecoms, finance, legal, etc. ERM France currently has 170 employees distributed between Paris and Lyon.

We are looking to recruit an Environment Health and Safety Consultant (team M&A).

Description of the position:

  • Practically accompany industrial clients and investment funds in their investments by responding to their questions about the impact of risks and the levers for creating EHS value.
  • Intervene on E(HS) due diligence projects at the purchase and/or sale of industrial and tertiary companies (chemistry, pharmaceuticals, energy, metallurgy, infrastructure, health, etc.) in France, involving visits to industrial sites and the writing of associated reports.
  • Carry out documentary analyses on EHS topics.
  • Evaluate the risk associated with soil and groundwater pollution.
  • Evaluate reputational risk.
  • Develop post-transaction action plans.

You will be able to intervene in both French and international projects as a member of our global network.

Profile:

  • You are a graduate of a general engineering school (or equivalent university course). You speak and write in French and English (report mainly in English). You will be based in Paris or Lyon. Frequent travel in France and occasional international travel. You have 2 to 5 years of experience in the fields of environment, hygiene, and safety. Position open to recent graduates.
