Responsibilities
- Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from design templates, or from rough or detailed sketches or notes.
- Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentation.
- Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedule.
- Prepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication.
- Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practices.
- Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer, fabricators, etc.
- Associates degree in Computer Aided Design or related degree; preferred.
- Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes is required.
- 3D modeling experience is required.
- Strong computer skills desired.
