Accounting Director (Hybrid)

Location: North Dallas area (Hybrid)
Compensation: $170,000–$180,000 + bonus

Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization with a strong mission and a commitment to operational excellence. Due to continued expansion, our client is adding an Accounting Director to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and support GAAP financial statement preparation
• Deliver reporting packages and monthly financials aligned with PE expectations
• Coordinate audits and work with third parties for year-end tax filings
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting policies and procedures
• Identify process improvements to support scalability and efficiency
• Support acquisitions including diligence and post-close integration
• Partner with multi-site teams to standardize accounting practices and ensure consistency
• Support Net Suite usage and enhancements, including training and ongoing financial reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
• 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with in a private equity-backed environment strongly preferred
• Healthcare experience required, ideally within multi-location/provider-based settings
• Experience with cash-to-accrual conversions and revenue recognition preferred
• Net Suite experience required (implementation experience a plus)
