Role OverviewThe Retirement Plan Consultant provides objective guidance to plan sponsors and employees, delivering educational presentations and campaigns to increase plan participation and assets.
Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group presentations in person or via video technology to improve awareness of plan features and grow plan assets.
- Deliver enrollment meetings, age‑based financial education sessions, and advanced financial literacy meetings as requested by the plan sponsor.
- Actively participate in benefit fairs, new employee orientations, and the annual plan review and financial education planning process.
- Assist Relationship Manager and/or District Vice President with targeted education campaigns to increase participation and deferral rates.
- Meet with participants and eligible employees to educate them regarding plan participation.
- Coordinate travel as required for new plan enrollments within the assigned territory.
- High‑school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Series7 and Series
66 preferred; appropriate state insurance licenses required. - CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.
