We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Financial Analyst/Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is integral to our manufacturing business, focusing on financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing insights to drive business performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights on business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, PCAOB, SEC, and other financial regulations.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information, resolve financial issues, and improve financial processes.
- Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial advice to management to aid in strategic planning and business development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards such as SOX, PCAOB, and SEC.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office, especially in creating and handling spreadsheets.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
