Job Description
Advisory and audit services for lenders in project financing, infrastructure or energy projects, or PPP (Public Private Partnerships), under the responsibility of the head of the Lenders Insurance Advisory (LIA) division within the Private Equity and M&A department of Marsh.
What We Are Looking For:
Participation in audit missions (risks, contracts, insurance) on projects in France or internationally, on behalf of lending banks:
• Analysis of various project contracts (e.g., construction, operation, credit);
• Analysis of project risks and their allocation among project stakeholders;
• Analysis of insurance programs or policies planned for the project and the protection of lenders' interests (followed by validation of policies);
• Opinions and recommendations in the interest of lenders, and issuance of reports (mostly in English);
• Exchanges/negotiations with stakeholders (sponsors and their brokers, lenders, legal and technical advisors), in English or French.
Commercial development of the activity, with project sponsors (who choose LIA advisors) or banks (recipients of reports) or other partners.

Prerequisites:
Holder of a Master 2 in law or equivalent;
A master's degree in insurance law, or specialized training in insurance would be a plus;
4 years and more of experience in insurance. Knowledge of project financing structures/technical and construction risks would be a plus;
Ability to analyze contractual clauses and understand project risks; sufficient maturity to defend one's point of view in situations where interests may be divergent (sponsors/lending banks), notions in project financing;
Excellent expression skills, as well as the ability to write deliverables in English;
Mastery of the Office Pack;
Fluent English. Ability to write reports and notes independently;
Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure;
Interpersonal skills.
