You will join Ardian's Co-Investment team in Paris as a Private Equity Junior Analyst and participate in the execution of minority transactions. You will be involved in every stage of the investment process:
- Due Diligence – critically analyze and evaluate investment files of Tier-1 Private Equity funds, DD of advisors, management presentations, and participate in meetings with funds, management teams, and sector experts to develop an independent investment opinion.
- Investment Committee Memos (IC Memo) – leverage advisor reports and internal research to write comprehensive sections of memos for the Investment Committee, conduct valuation analyses, and actively contribute to team discussions and Investment Committees.
- Financial Analysis – build LBO models, challenge assumptions, test scenario robustness, and perform financial analyses to support investment recommendations.
- Portfolio Monitoring – track the performance of portfolio companies, identify key value creation levers, and report potential risks.
You will be fully integrated into the deal team on a wide variety of transactions – typically between 3 and 6 deals finalized during your internship – each bringing a new sector, geography, and leading Private Equity fund, with its own culture and investment approach. You will develop a cross-business culture, strong analytical skills, and genuine investment judgment from day one.
