Internship Opportunity In Economics At Rothschild & Co Asset Management

Rothschild & Co Asset Management, a specialized asset management division of Rothschild & Co, is looking for an economics intern for a period of 12 or 24 months.

Within the Wealth and Asset Management division, the economics research team is responsible for developing scenarios that integrate growth perspectives and risk factors for major developed and emerging countries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing analytical tools (including databases) used in the team's activities
• Conduct research on key global economic topics that will later result in publications (written in both French and English)
• Publish follow-up documents and analyses of economic news for the group's clients and internal investment committees in Paris, private bankers, and market participants
• Respond to internal or external requests on economic issues alongside these duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4) or Master’s degree (Bac +5) in economics and/or finance, with a strong grasp of macroeconomics and economic analysis
• Proficiency in Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with Bloomberg or Macrobond is a plus
• Beyond involvement in the research team, this internship offers a unique opportunity to discover the functioning of financial markets and various departments within an asset management company
