Resurgens Orthopaedics is currently seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to become part of our pain management practice. Job Type: Full‑time

Locations:
Cedar Hill and Sachse. The position will require travel to our other clinics as needed.

As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare providers to support clinical operations and ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. This includes taking patient medical histories, assisting with examinations and procedures, preparing and maintaining medical supplies, and performing routine administrative tasks.

• Answers phones.
• Scribing for the provider.
• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Greets patients and takes them back to rooms.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information on patients charts.
• May be required to collect urine samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares examination rooms and maintains daily cleaning list.
• Filling out procedure consents.
• Schedules patients for their special procedures with ASC centers.
• Formulates and documents patient care plans, charts, tests and examination results in the medical record.
• Escalates non‑routine issues to the Office Manager or Physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Office Manager or Physician.

• Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
• Scribe Experience is a Plus
• Medical office experience: 2 years (Required)
• Pain Management experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Relevant experience: 1 year (Required)
