Overview
The Patient Account Representative for Ortho Med Anesthesia is responsible for delivering exceptional service to patients with inquiries related to anesthesia billing. This role plays a critical part in the revenue cycle by assisting patients with questions about charges, payment plans, insurance coverage, and account balances, while ensuring accurate, timely, and professional communication.
This is a full‑time position based at our corporate office in Addison, TX, reporting to the VP of Revenue. The role requires on‑site presence during regular business hours.

AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in medical billing or patient customer service; anesthesia or surgical billing experience preferred
- Working knowledge of insurance plans, CPT/HCPCS codes, medical terminology, and EOBs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
