Caregiver – Dementia Care

Location: Addison, TX
Rate: $15–$16 per hour
Shift: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday – Saturday

At Home Helpers Home Care of Dallas provides compassionate, dependable in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance. We are seeking an experienced, reliable caregiver to support a client requiring dementia care, personal care, and assistance with daily activities. This position involves one-on-one care in a private home setting.

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene
• Support transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders
• Transport client for errands and appointments as needed
• Follow the client’s individualized care plan
• Communicate clearly and professionally with family members and care team
• Accurately document daily activities and observations
• Perform additional caregiving duties as assigned

Client Care Level: Patient Care Level 3, due to dementia diagnosis, history of falls, and need for ongoing personal care

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Experience providing dementia or memory care
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality care
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a 50-state background check and drug screening

Care is provided in the client’s private home. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with transfers.
