We are looking for an educational and social companion to work within one of our medico-social establishments, located in a medicalized reception home (FAM).

Your duties will include accompanying residents in daily life activities, promoting their autonomy, and participating in their well-being. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized and adapted support to each resident's needs.

You will also participate in the development and implementation of residents' personalized projects, in collaboration with other professionals at the establishment. You will be responsible for transmitting relevant information about residents to the care team and families.

Working conditions can be demanding, requiring great availability and the ability to work as part of a team. You will need to show patience, kindness, and active listening to meet the needs of residents.

You will perform various tasks such as helping with toileting, dressing, accompanying during meals, and organizing leisure and socialization activities. You will also ensure the safety and comfort of residents, respecting the hygiene and safety protocols in force.

Your main duties:

• Accompanying residents in daily life activities (toileting, dressing, meals, etc.)

For this position of educational and social companion, we are looking for a professional with a Diploma of State for Educational and Social Companion (DEAES). Prior experience in the medico-social sector is essential.

The qualities required for this position are patience, empathy, kindness, and an excellent sense of listening and communication. You must show rigor, autonomy, and discretion, while having a strong sense of service and organization.
