Event Hospitality Team Leader / Captain
Shifts: Varies based on events schedule and client needs.
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00/hr
Overview
Indeed Flex is hiring experienced Event Team Leaders / Captains to support our clients with high-end events by leading on-site teams and ensuring smooth, professional service throughout the shift. This role is ideal for dependable hospitality professionals who excel at teamwork, communication, and attention to detail while serving as a point of support for both Flexers and event management.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with pre-shift training, including checking in Flexers and reviewing event expectations
- Act as a point of contact during the shift by supporting Flexer questions and escalations
- Provide real-time feedback and guidance to team members while actively working the event
- Perform hands-on event service, including tray service and team-based service execution
- Work assigned stations with your team (passing plates, passing beverages, attending stations, etc.)
- Complete all side work and assigned tasks as directed by event leadership
- Support a smooth close-out; end times may vary based on event needs
Shift Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team-based service model
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Provide direction and support while maintaining a positive guest experience
- Prior event, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
