Night Manager Position at Hôtel de Sers

Hôtel de Sers, Baby Palace, is looking for a Night Manager to join its Front Office team.
Main MissionRepresenting the management in their absence, you will ensure the quality of service provided to the client and the safety of property and people.
General Missions- Maintain the standards of customer service
- Take and pass on instructions
- Personalize the welcome and follow-up of clients throughout their stay, always aiming to optimize client satisfaction
- Ensure that internal procedures are respected
- Ensure that the reception, lobby, entrance, and all areas visible to clients are impeccably clean
- Ensure the safety of people within the establishment by controlling all entries and exits
- Ensure the safety of property against theft and deterioration
- Close the PMS system (controls, reports, date changes, etc.)
- Send the night report to the teams and management
- Verify client profiles and complete any that are not updated
- Print lists of present clients, remaining arrivals, and departures
- Control the list of taxi reservations and schedule wake-ups
- Control the rack and pay master
- Close out the day
- Collect breakfast trays (00:00 and 04:00) from the floors
- Perform several security checks (report any anomalies). During this check, you must be equipped with a mobile phone. This check verifies the cleanliness of the floors (plateau to be taken back to the kitchen, etc.)
- Verify the sheet for the cleaning staff and the daily info
- Prepare reports for different services
- Pass on instructions to the day receptionist
- Note no-shows on the housekeeping sheet and in the night report
o Financial Management
- Present client invoices without error
- Verify that client bins are up to date (corresponding to the client's room number)
- Supervise the work of service provider companies operating at night (according to the directives of the responsible services)
- Count the main cashbox, fill out the cash register table, and note each justification or explanation of differences according to internal procedures
- Verify credit card agreements
- Verify the billing of client expenses
- Ensure control of expenses and cash receipts from the hotel's different sales points
- Verify the accuracy of Opéra operations
- Control room rates according to price codes and report any apparent anomalies to the responsible party
o Team Management
- Maintain a good team spirit
- Maintain good relations with your team and any other department in the hotel
- Control the entries and exits of individuals (be vigilant about walk-ins: no client without a reservation should go to a room without you verifying the validity of their credit card and obtaining a copy of their passport or another official document)
- Be able to inform the on-duty management of any major problems related to technical equipment (electricity, water, air conditioning, etc.) or fire and alarm systems
- Know the emergency numbers and the internal evacuation procedure
