The Reservations Agent ensures the handling of reservation requests made by our clients. These requests can come from different channels (phone, chat, emails, reservations made through GDS). One of the main responsibilities of a Reservations Agent is to answer phone reservation requests. In this sense, the agent is primarily a salesperson who must know the hotel and its services, the different categories of rooms or suites and what characterizes them and fulfill the requests.

Another aspect of the Reservations Agent's role is to follow up on the different requests administratively: process the correspondence received by email or phone, ensure the proper follow-up of the different tasks to be performed during a shift and be informed of the latest updates within the department.

The Reservations Agent must demonstrate a good team spirit, excellent presentation, good elocution and good interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele. Organizational skills and good stress management are also key elements.

Essential functions:

  • Selling our rooms and showcasing the hotel in general while demonstrating rigor and organization.
  • Anticipating customer needs.
  • Answering phone calls and optimizing the sale of our rooms and suites.
  • Demonstrating kindness, rigor and team spirit.
  • Having a good knowledge of the hotel, the different sales points and services, the rooms and suites we offer.
  • Registering reservations, confirming them and following up on the payment.
  • Updating reservations recorded in Opèra in the last 24 hours made by our partners.
  • Processing client traces and comments to ensure proper follow-up to prepare the stay of our clients.
  • Following up on No Shows (cancellations).
  • Performing a check of all reservations 3 days before the arrival of clients.

Secondary functions:

  • Respecting all applicable employee procedures.
  • Ensuring that the office is tidy and clean.
  • Training new agents.
  • Being able to solve problems individually and take initiatives as appropriate.

What we offer:

  • Excellent working conditions and remuneration.
  • Free nights and preferential rates with a 50% discount on food and beverage offers.
  • Many training and development opportunities.
  • Possibility of career advancement within the company.
  • Advantageous health insurance.
  • 13th month.
  • Profit sharing and participation.
  • Staff restaurant.
  • Laundry service.
