Human Resources Generalist

Location: Corporate Office currently in Addison, TX (Near Beltline & Tollway) – relocating July 2026 to Park/Tollway (West Plano area)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8am‑5pm – required to work onsite.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist is a key member of a high‑performing, dynamic Human Resources team accountable for delivering business results in a high‑growth, fast‑paced organization. The position is a critical liaison within the human resources department to facilitate an exceptional onboarding experience for candidates and continued support throughout an employee’s lifecycle. Working with HR and BI managers, the Generalist will suggest and implement solutions, manage risk, streamline people‑practice processes, and enhance employee satisfaction through effective use of the HRIS platform.

This role supports a company of nearly 3000 employees in multiple states with aggressive growth and expansion plans.

Your Role and What You’ll Do
  • Background and drug‑screening process management
  • HR process refinement and continuous improvement
  • Pre‑employment workflow and best practices
  • I‑9 management with SME proficiency
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files within the HRIS
  • Create HRIS reports and track metrics
  • Employee records management and audit support
  • Support automation of HR functions within the HRIS
  • Assist in building out HRIS modules
  • Liaison with unemployment claims administration
  • Assist with LOA program, coordinating and managing leave of absence issues and compliance within the HRIS
  • Participate in developing HR strategies to support rapid company growth
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR team to inform decision‑making
  • Tech savvy; experience with HRIS systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–3 years of HR experience supporting a fast‑growing company with a high volume of new hires (preferred)
  • PHR/SPHR strongly preferred
  • Tech savvy; experience with HRIS
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and auditing new‑hire paperwork and employee files
  • Prior responsibility managing background vendors
  • SME in employee files and records management
  • Demonstrated experience working within an HRIS to manage the employee experience from a single platform (Paycom experience preferred)
  • Experience with core HR services such as LOA, performance management, payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to multi‑task successfully and prioritize HR matters
  • Efficient, organized, and detail‑oriented
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) and patient
  • Sense of urgency; energized by a challenge
  • Enjoy a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
