The Operations Recruiter is responsible for driving all aspects of the recruiting process for medical support roles across different position types (i.e., PRN, part-time, full-time/direct hire, etc.). This position is responsible for finding and hiring qualified candidates for positions such as medical center and market leadership, medical assistants, front office staff, medical and therapy support roles, nursing, and other clinical roles as needed.
Daily activities involve interaction with a wide variety of individuals within Concentra, as well as active and passive candidates. The position should influence positive behavior in others by serving as a role model in critical areas of human interaction, teamwork, and leadership. This position is expected to work effectively with all employees, i.e. management and supporting departments, to promote effective recruitment strategies that support the achievement of organizational goals and to foster a work environment that demonstrates respect and understanding for diversity.
Responsibilities- Partner with hiring managers to create and review job requisitions, defining and validating key position requirements (i.e. education, experience, technical competencies, travel and/or relocation requirements).
- Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Source, recruit, and pre-screen talented and diverse candidates for a variety of skill sets and multiple positions.
- Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match job requirements.
- Determine job offer details, prepare, and extend offers to internal and external hires.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.
- Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system.
- Develop and provide weekly and monthly recruiting reports to hiring managers, internal customers, or recruiting leadership as needed.
- Monitor/audit job requisitions and candidate files and track applicant flow.
- Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers, and candidates.
- Actively participate and contribute to process improvement strategies and projects within the recruiting team as well as the human resources team.
- Generate new ideas and recommendations that improve the quality of service provided.
- Manage high volume of requisitions and competing priorities, while maintaining effective organization, communication, and timely follow up to all stakeholders.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership with a consultative approach to drive the recruiting process successfully and timely.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and/or experience.
- In lieu of an undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
- Customarily has at least three years of recruiting for mid to large size healthcare companies.
- Experience with high volume recruiting is preferred.
