Position Summary

A Technology Project Manager/Technology Delivery Lead, is responsible for planning, coordinating, end-to-end management and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the project health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.

They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

Claims Technology Delivery is an integral part of the Fraud, Claims and Consumer Credit Assistance Technology organization. The team is focused on end-to-end technology project delivery execution and adherence to the Bank of America Enterprise Change Management Standards. This individual will be on point to support End-to-End delivery and oversight of small to medium technology change requests and projects, managing to schedule, timeline, budget, and ensuring all change and tollgate evidence documentation is executed in compliance with Global Change Policies and Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates etc.
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Manage project financials.
  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Support resource planning for delivery/execution.
  • Responsible for working with a variety of technical teams, product owners, line of business/operations users to support and drive delivery of change for Claims technology applications and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure technology delivery is on time and within budget.
  • Ensures all audit documentation is in line with Enterprise change standards guidelines and timelines.
  • Supports project reporting and other communications across the teams as required.
  • Individual Contributor role.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery & business understanding
  • Good working experience in Agile environment and understanding of agile development methodology
  • Adaptable/flexible to respond to changing business demands
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving projects to completion
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to:
    • Interact productively with team members across multiple locations and time zones
    • Present project health and status conditions clearly and concisely
    • Engage with senior management / executive level management as needed
  • Ability to learn new tools and skills required to perform the role as well as to understand the business and existing systems
  • Extremely organized and ability to manage multiple work streams.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and delivery focused
  • Very good attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience leading and supporting technology teams in the delivery of business outcomes in scrum agile framework
  • Ability to anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans
  • Ability to work self-directed and independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and horizontally
  • Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment
  • Intermediate/Expert MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint), Jira, and Share Point
  • Strong communication/presentation/executive presence skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Technology Project manager/Technology Delivery Lead roles
  • PMP certification
