Our organization

In the context of our Digital Business Transformation programs, we create multidisciplinary SPEED (Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, Data & AI) teams of several dozen to several hundred collaborators, France and International, who interface with those of our clients.

These come from different industries:
Retail/Consumer Product Goods, Financial Services, Transportation & Mobility, Travel & Hospitality.

Together, we design disruptive new digital products/services, we pilot deep transformation topics or even solve complex issues.

The Engineering France team brings together different Crafts:
Architecture, Front-end, Back-end and Mobile Development (React, Java, Android, Flutter, iOS…), Devops, QA.

Internationally, we collaborate with a network of more than 12,000 experts around the world (United States, United Kingdom, India, Romania, etc.), allowing us to meet diverse technological needs.

Description of the position

In this context, we are recruiting a Director Of Technology specialized in the Retail/Consumer Product Goods industries.

Attached to the Engineering team and in tandem with the Client Partner Retail/Consumer Product Goods, you will address renowned companies to identify and solve technical issues related to e-commerce, omnichannelity, marketing technology, CRM or Customer Data Platform topics!

This role is primarily that of a high-level architect and a technology leader capable of intervening both in the pre-sales phase and in the supervision of delivery programs. You will be the technical reference point for our C-level clients (CDO, CIO, CTO) and the guarantor of the architectural quality of the solutions delivered.

The role is roughly divided as follows: ~70% in Hands-off mode (architecture, strategy, pre-sales, pilotage) and ~30% in Hands-on mode — mainly to prototype concepts, validate technical choices or carry out proof of concepts in pre-sales phase. It is not an operational engineering role. You will wear two main hats:
Presales and Delivery.

PRESALES:

• Participate in commercial appointments and tender responses, to bring your technical expertise, adapted to Retail/Consumer Product Goods industries
• Conduct discovery interviews with our clients' business and tech teams to identify real issues and align them with our capabilities
• Design and present target architectures (cloud, data, agentic AI, etc.) adapted to the context and constraints of our clients
• Carry out technical proofs of concept to support and credibly back commercial proposals
• Contribute to the elaboration of the global strategy and the creation of new products and services, in collaboration with the different capabilities of the SPEED.

DELIVERY:

• Play the role of main Architect on missions: conception, documentation and validation of end-to-end architectures (front, back, data, cloud, AI)
• Translate business requirements into innovative, pragmatic and scalable technical solutions
• Supervise the technical teams in France and internationally to ensure the proper realization of the defined architectures
• Intervene in all phases of a program: estimations, team sizing, roadmap definition, regular client points, demonstrations
