Job DescriptionThe Purchasing Department is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services for the Ubisoft Group. Its main missions are to reduce costs, provide quality service to internal clients, and manage external risks. To achieve these objectives, the Purchasing Department must participate in the creation and animation of the group purchasing community, through benchmarking, coordination, sharing of best practices and tools, and the use of a common repository.
The main objective of the position is to ensure the long-term optimization of costs and risk management for recurring IT purchasing categories, particularly on Cloud and Hosting expenses. The main clients of the IT Buyer are the IT Department and, to a lesser extent, the development studios.
In compliance with the purchasing policy, determined by management, your missions will be as follows:
- You define and implement the Cloud/Hosting purchasing strategy in line with the Group's technology roadmap.
- You manage strategic sourcing to identify opportunities for purchasing performance (consolidation, global sourcing, duration of commitment, etc.);
- You monitor supplier performance and ensure the application and use of contracts;
- You develop the reporting requested on these activities, relying on the tools and processes in place;
- You ensure regular communication with key internal partners and actively participate in the development of relationships with key stakeholders;
- In a constant vigilance approach, you stay informed of trends and best practices in purchasing;
- You maintain close links with the procurement team regarding potential supplier responsiveness issues, internal client feedback, and new contracts;
- You implement a medium to long-term strategy towards key IT suppliers to control costs, risks, and quality;
- You may be required to manage the purchase of IT solutions related to game production, or integrated into our games (Middleware).
Experience
To succeed in this position, you have significant operational experience as an IT buyer with expertise in Cloud and Hosting categories, with management of projects from the sourcing phase to contractualization/follow-up. You have in-depth knowledge of Cloud economic models (IaaS, PaaS), hyperscale environments, and associated contractual models.

- You have good adaptability skills
- You have advanced proficiency in Excel and solid foundations in purchase contract law would be a plus
- You have a current level of English, which is indispensable for this international position
