Job Summary: The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Supoprt Desk Coordinator will provide support to the EHR athena support team and the staff and providers of Stride Care. Duties will include service desk ticket management, account management for multiple applications, preparation of support documentation, application trouble shooting, testing and upgrades.

Essential
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Ticket Management (60%)
- Application Support (20%)
- Account Management (10%)
- Preparing Support Documentation (5%)
- Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
- Assist in covering “help desk” tickets related to the use of EHR
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest, and implement process changes
- Support business projects such as regulatory compliance, provider productivity, patient experience, etc.
- Support new implementations of EHR
- Assist in testing of upgrades as necessary
- Identify problems and assist in resolving issues with software
- Perform some software development tasks in EHR, Practice Management, and ancillary applications
- Assist with contacting software vendors as necessary for high-level troubleshooting and known issue resolution
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of electronic health records principles; implementation or upgrade support a plus
- Familiar with clinical data and financial reporting a plus

- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, email and verbally to all levels of organization
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all members of the organization
- Ability to recognize issues (whether existing or potential) and proactively communicate to co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to identify and solve problems and make decisions under pressure and time constraints

Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of current trends and developments in health information technology as defined by healthcare reform, HITECH Act, MACRA, and HIPAA security rules
- At least 2 years’ experience in a health care setting
