- Comprehensive Azure Cloud Architecture:
Deep hands-on experience designing and migrating enterprise workloads utilizing Azure Infrastructure Services (vNet Hub/Spoke models, Application Gateways, Express Route, and Storage Accounts). - Dev Ops IaC (Terraform & Power Shell):
Extensive hands‑on experience writing production‑grade Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, alongside automation scripting in Power Shell, Bash, or Python. - Azure Container Services (ACS/AKS):
Proven expertise configuring, managing, and scaling microservices architectures within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Services. - CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Hands‑on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Red Hat Open Shift. - Azure Native & Cloud Security Integration:
Strong experience integrating Azure Native services (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Event Hub) with cloud security controls (Key Vault, NSGs, and Azure Active Directory).
- Modern Cloud Networking capabilities (CDN, SD-WAN, Load Balancing, and Web Application Firewalls / WAF).
- Systems Administration experience spanning both Windows/Linux environments and directory services (Active Directory, SCCM).
- Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and modern Azure AI/ML service integrations.
We are seeking an elite, hands‑on Azure Cloud Architect to drive complex cloud migrations, design high-performing infrastructure, and lead technical execution. Reporting to the cloud architecture steering group, you will act as the principal technical design authority—collaborating directly with stakeholders to sign off on Architecture Review Board (ARR) design documents. This role is a hybrid‑onsite position (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in either Montpelier, VT or Addison, TX.
This is a highly technical role demanding deep networking, IaC, and containerization skills to deliver stable, secure, and modern enterprise environments.
- Architect & Configure Core Azure Infrastructure:
Design and implement Azure infrastructure services including Azure AD, App Gateways, DNS, Express Route, Storage Accounts, and Log Analytics. - Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Own the end-to-end automation of cloud resources utilizing Terraform, Power Shell, and Azure CLI, championing policy-as-code principles. - Orchestrate Containerized Workloads:
Lead the deployment and management of containerized microservices architectures built on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Open Shift. - Drive End‑to‑End CI/CD Automation:
Define, build, and optimize software delivery pipelines using Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, and Jenkins to streamline deployments. - Technical Leadership & Governance:
Partner directly with business stakeholders to draft, iterate, and secure approvals for comprehensive Architecture Review Record (ARR) documents.
