Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Goal/Vision Alignment:
    Work closely with the EPM to understand stakeholder goals/visions for software solutions and develop project plans to ensure the project tracks towards appropriate milestones, leveraging KPI goals and reporting.
  • Software Discovery:
    Provide support during software discovery phases through business level deep dives and understanding the software vendors' timeline/requirements.
  • Compliance & Security:
    Ensure all projects meet HIPAA requirements and healthcare data security standards
  • Vendor and Team Management:
    Coordinate with software vendors and internal teams to ensure information is communicated and milestones are met.
  • System Integration:
    Oversee integrations between medical specific software and business management systems to ensure data is communicated across platforms correctly.
  • Launch Planning/Training:
    Work closely with the EPM to develop and implement launch plans for new software. Develop and implement training programs for clinicians or corporate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of project management experience, scrum master experience, or product owner
  • Experience, preferably in healthcare
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred
  • Understand HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security
  • Strong communication skills for both cross-functional team and vendor communications
  • Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in different departments/industries such as design, technology, advertising, consulting, etc.
  • Experience with anesthesia-specific software and equipment
  • Familiarity with Texas healthcare regulations
