Role OverviewThis role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. The position involves ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure successful integration into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver complex requirements to meet business goals.
- Ensure software development meets functional, non-functional, and compliance standards.
- Code solutions, conduct unit tests, and ensure successful system integration.
- Collaborate with teams to improve the developer experience and advance technology platforms.
- Reduce risk and improve quality by aligning with enterprise architecture strategy.
- Drive accessibility of applications for teammates and customers.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation for data governance and quality issues.
- Design and recommend governance structures and control frameworks for data management.
Education: A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with data management, data analytics, and/or governance is required.
Technical
Skills:
Experience with PostgreSQL is strongly preferred. Proficiency in data analysis and data management is required.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills for a diverse audience, including senior management.
- Capability to evaluate business needs and risks broadly across the enterprise.
- Personal initiative to find opportunities, lead change, improve processes, and solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices (Dev Ops).
- Working knowledge of Agile/Waterfall frameworks.
- Basic understanding of financial data and risk management principles.
