Customer Service Representative, Commercial Lines

Agency Owner The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative performs the essential functions of the position, which includes aiding clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are required in this position. Meets service and sales delivery standards and performs essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by the agency. General office administrative duties are also involved.

Systems requirements include being fluent and skilled in our AMS Vertifore System; leveraging advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM platforms, to optimize client and office operations. Hold Texas Property and Casualty License Personal Organizational Development sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.

Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency. Maintains up-to-date technical manuals and understands how to perform technical tasks to expedite client service.

Daily activities include daily download reports from AMS
360 and updating AMS
360, invoicing and direct billed policies from download repayment, maintaining monthly renewal list, issuing binders/certificates as needed, basic office duties which include processing of received mail, answering telephone, and filing. Quoting and/or re-quoting renewals.

Working operations include a small but cordial office environment which requires a self-motivated individual with a desire to work and achieve agency goals. The office is normally open Monday through Friday from 8:15a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with lunch from Noon to 1:00 p.m. The Agency Manual will provide more details related to this.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
