Purchasing Trainee/Apprentice/VIE

Our Site based in Paris 17ème is the headquarters of Valeo. It brings together 320 employees and hosts the general management of the Group's cross-functional departments.
Your missions:
- Direct the relations with suppliers and implement the Group's purchasing strategy, in order to achieve the KPIs for the Respect segments and apply Valeo's standards.
- Manage the supplier panel in accordance with the Group's strategy for the segments and ensure that the information on suppliers recorded in the systems (PuMa) are up to date and accurate.
- Coordinate with different countries to align on KPIs, savings, auctions, sourcing matrix. Prepare the different reports after analyzing the KPIs.
- Assist the regional purchasing teams in the implementation of group projects.
- Assist the buyers in the purchasing process.
- Participate in budgeting and strategy.
- Ensure the interface and support of the segments on a global scale.
About you:
- You are preparing an engineering or business school diploma (a master in purchasing is a big plus).
- You have ideally a first experience in the purchasing field (this is not mandatory, but it is preferable).
- You master the Office Pack (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets...).
- You master English and French in a professional context.
