- Own the shipping backlog and develop a plan to reduce it
- Oversee freight claims, damage tracking, and resolution
- Develop furniture packaging standards to reduce transit damage
- Manage packaging materials and shipping supplies
- Own inventory accuracy for finished goods and outbound materials, including regular cycle counts
- Manage shipping, receiving, staging, and finished-goods inventory
- Establish organized, efficient warehouse staging and storage practices

- Develop SOPs for shipping, receiving, and dispatch processes
- Help lead and develop shipping/warehouse personnel
- Monitor freight costs, carrier performance, and on-time delivery
- Establish safety and organizational standards throughout the shipping/warehouse area
- 3+ years of shipping, logistics, transportation, or warehouse experience
- Experience with LTL, freight, final-mile, or large-item shipping
- Carrier negotiation and freight-rate experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of BOLs, freight claims, tracking, and shipping documentation
- Experience with inventory and shipping/receiving operations
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Furniture, manufacturing, or large-item logistics experience preferred
