Client Relationship Manager, Area Manager
Director Regional Sales (F/H) - Ile-de-France
Within the Commercial Direction, we are recruiting a DIRECTOR REGIONAL SALES (F/M): you will take responsibility for a strategic region, the Ile-de-France.
In a demanding and highly competitive market context, your role is to pursue a sustainable and offensive growth dynamic, combining commercial development, operational excellence, and team leadership.
You are both the commercial boss of the region, the top seller on strategic accounts, and the manager capable of transforming and advancing an experienced team.
Your responsibilities:
Commercial Development & Conquest
- Define and pilot the regional business plan (revenue, volumes, margins)
- Develop market shares in public and private segments
- Relaunch commercial conquest: opening new accounts, developing intermediary actors
- Strengthen an offensive prescription approach (architects, BE, AMO, MOA, large accounts)
- Intervene personally on structuring and high-stakes affairs
- Exploit fully the role of Paris as a major prescription center, at the service of the region and the national
Management & Leadership (13 people)
- Manage and support a regional sales team
- Cultivate a culture of performance, exigence, and conquest
- Pilot the activity through precise indicators (revenue, margin, product mix, individual performance)
- Accompany teams on the ground, especially on complex dossiers
Piloting & Performance
- Analyze performance finely: by client, channel, product, commercial
- Use the CRM as a central tool for piloting and management
- Ensure the profitability and optimization of regional resources
- Conduct active market/competition surveillance and propose adapted action plans
Transverse Collaboration
- Work in close coordination with the National Sales Direction, the Large Account teams, Distribution, Segments (Health, Retail, Industry, Sport…)
- Contribute to projects with national impact, especially through Parisian prescription
Requirements
You are a field leader, involved and exemplary, capable of combining strategic vision and operational efficiency, demanding, results-oriented, with a strong culture of piloting. You are comfortable in complex and competitive environments. You know how to rally, challenge, and advance experienced teams.
Experience
- Successful experience of at least 15 years in managing commercial teams on the ground, ideally in Ile-de-France
- Solid track record in construction / second work / building materials
- Mastery of complex and long sales cycles
- Confirmed experience in direct enterprise sales, distribution networks, and prescription
Key Skills
- Excellent understanding of the Parisian prescription ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to conquer new markets, develop high-potential accounts, and structure a high-performance commercial approach
- Very good level in negotiation and management of complex affairs
