Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of an Advanced Distribution Management System, within our client’s territory, and will oversee all aspects of the project over the entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Deliver project(s) to completion; own scope, cost, schedule, and risks, managing multiple business and technical resources, consultants, and vendors.
- Develop contractual Statements of Work with clients and suppliers, articulating precise assumptions and limits of responsibilities.
- Strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins.
- Assign work, monitor, and measure team outputs; report to the entire project team and manage resource gaps or shortages.
- Represent TRC to ensure client and TRC interests align for project success.
- Manage vendors, ensuring contractual, operational, and relationship aspects are aligned.
- Champion a positive project work environment and lead the team to achieve objectives on time and within budget.
- Develop workflow plans from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover, and client migration.
- Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step.
- Prepare and maintain risk assessments and mitigation action plans.
- Maintain resource forecasts to assure schedule compliance and desired results.
- Update company and external stakeholders on project progress, changes from original plans, and emerging risks.
- Lead the core project team meetings and present progress at Steering Committee level with senior executives from TRC or the client.
- Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain.
- Experience leading and managing large‑scale, multifaceted enterprise‑wide Operational Technologies projects in an electric or gas utility environment.
- Proficiency in all aspects of project management within the project management body of knowledge.
- Excellent organizational, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C‑Level to multiple technical teams.
- Ability to self‑direct, work independently, and collaborate within a team environment.
- Team building and motivational skills.
- Excellent budgeting and financial skills.
- Proficiency with MS Project and the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to client locations.
- Experience implementing large ADMS programs, preferably on the vendor side.
- PMP certification.

The salary range for this position is USD $ – USD $ per year, varying based on experience, education, skill level, and location. Additional compensation may include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus program tied to company and individual performance.
