AI-First Culture

At Tomorro, everyone is an AI builder. CX, Ops, Sales, Product, HR, Tech: each team builds, prompts, automates, and codes. AI is not a separate project; it’s our daily way of working.

ThursdAI: every Thursday afternoon, we stop to build cross-team: new agentic workflows, internal automations, exploration of tools, and side projects that directly impact our daily life and performance.

Your Role

You join Tomorro to lead two squads (≈ 8 people: software engineers + designers), reporting directly to the CTO.

But beware: this is not an EM "project manager" or "ticket pusher" role. We are shifting to an AI-native model and end-to-end Impact Teams (ship + run). You are the owner of an execution system - people, quality, metrics, transformation - thought as an impact multiplier.

You are also a Tech Leader Manager: you know how to judge the craft, challenge the structuring decisions (architecture, perf, safe-by-design), and elevate the bar.

Your Missions
  • Install the execution engine: frameworks, lean rituals, guardrails. Intervene when it gets stuck systemically - not on every sprint.

  • Talent density: recruit top profiles, coach, grow, elevate the bar. A-players join a company to be managed by someone capable of judging their craft.

  • Pilot by metrics: install a delivery cockpit (velocity, quality, run) and transform it into improvement mechanisms.

  • Ensure engineering standards: quality bar, craft, ownership, run, via concrete mechanisms (reviews, postmortems, checklists).

  • AI Fin Ops: token tracing, cost per outcome, quality vs. cost trade-offs.

  • Coordination & flow: cross-squad fluidity (priorities, dependencies, trade-offs) while preserving team autonomy.

  • Stakeholder management: alignment Product / Design / Platform / AI / Security, velocity vs. risk vs. cost trade-offs.

Your Impact

After 6 months

  • Measurable improvement on 1 to 2 key metrics (velocity, quality, run tax, etc).

  • Adoption of 1 to 2 major rails that reduce friction sustainably.

  • Team strengthened by targeted hiring, visible progress of several ICs.

  • 1 initiative delivered with strong product or operational impact.

After 12 months

  • Stable and scalable execution system: predictable, high quality, well-managed incidents.

  • Embedded AI-native transformation: daily agentic automations, risk governance (security/compliance) and AI Fin Ops in place.

  • You are an internal reference on what it means to "do engineering management in an AI-native company".

Your Profile

Even if the perfect profile doesn’t exist, here’s what it would look like:

  • Proven experience in direct management of engineers - coaching, performance, hiring, bar raising. You have already led a scope with significant impact.

  • Background in startup or scale-up SaaS, ideally B2B.

  • Mastery of metric-driven management and ability to diagnose team performance, propose an action plan, and adopt standards.

  • Sufficient technical background to challenge decisions.

  • Excellent stakeholder management (PM, Design, CPO, tech committee) and ability to ensure cross-squad fluidity.

  • Capacity to lead a transformation (standards, culture, tooling) with measured adoption.

Bonus appreciated: experience in AI-native organization or strong automation, structuring less mature managerial teams, Safe by design (SOC2, GDPR) and Fin Ops.
